Mantic Dwarf Miners

Miners are converted from Mantic Dwarf IronClads and Shieldbreakers. Painted to match the rest of Dwarf Army.

Those Dwarfs have pick-hammers and are able to be fielded as both: Miners with filler and Hammerers (Shieldbreakers) with filler swapped with 5 Shieldbreakers I've painted. Check them HERE..

The wolf is supposed to be a Giant Husky Sled Dog, which are second best friends to Dwarfs (well Mastiffs are their first best friends of course). Next project would be Dwarf Cavalry on Husky Dogs also with filler!

I'm going to buy one more old Kings of War Battleset to get 20 more Revenants tomorrow to build my Revenant Horde for Undead Elite Army (40 models). I've decided to get the whole battleset to get 20 more skeletons (to switch armored bodies so my Revenants will look really armored).

Buying The Mhorgoth’s Revenge Fantasy Battleset will bring me some Zombies and Ghouls and also some Dwarves for a really good price.

I'd like to get new rules (they are free in the new battleset), but it might be better idea to get them with some Mega-armies sets.

Mantic Dwarf Ironguard Regiment with Filler and Mastiff

Those Ironguards are defending their Runestone! This unit is equipped with the best armor and weapon. Their armored Mastiff will find any sneaky goblin trying to stab them in the back.

I like this unit very much.

Mantic Ironwatch with Rifles

Excellent shooting unit. Their firepower is enough to kill armored units of Undead or Orcs.

Mantic Ironwatch with Crossbows

Good shooting unit which can be connected with Shieldbreakers to create Rangera.

Mantic Dwarf Shieldbreakers

A small troop of shieldbreaker. Excellent for flanking enemy troops or just to give cover to other units.

Mantic Dwarf Warmachines

I didn't glue the cannon nor organ gun so you can swap those before each battle.

Kings of War Dwarf Rangers Profile

There is no official rules for Dwarf Rangers a Hybrid of Ironwatch with Crossbows and Shieldbreakers. Lets take a closer look at this unit.

I suggest to use following rules for this unit.

NEW SPECIAL RULES

Ranger
After deployment but before battle beginning a unit with this special rule can take one extra move phase (and only move phase). This can be At the Double! but it cannot be Charge! move. If both sides have rangers, both players roll dice. Whoever gets lower score, moves his rangers first.

This unit is very good at both shooting and fighting in close combat. With extra movement it can get in shooting range and into close combat very fast. To avoid seeing dwarf armies formed up entirely of ranger I've decided to make them quite expensive in points.
